I cannot believe my baby girl is already 6 months old. Each day she gets stronger and smarter and more independent from me. Ok, I can't keep talking about that or I'll make myself cry! Anyway, we went for our 6 month visit yesterday to have a check up. Shiloh is 29 inches long and 18.5 pounds. She is all length at this point...already sprouting some long legs like her daddy. She sits up very well and has really improved her hand/eye coordination.
All is well at our house just extremely busy. Nursing school for me is in full swing. Our first round of tests are next week and thank goodness my mom will be here to help us through. I am literally loving every moment of school. What a difference it makes when you love what you are studying! I am also playing in a tennis league and enjoying that extra exercise. Stephen is doing great and busy as ever (which is a good thing when you are an independent contractor!) We are also falling more in love with our nanny Ms. Pat. She seems to truly enjoy her time with Shiloh and as a mom that means the world. I came home the other day and the dishwasher had been loaded and unloaded, all laundry was done and sorted, and most importantly my little girl was smiling and giggling. We certainly don't ask her to do chores but she just does them out of the kindness of her heart. She is an angel from above that swoops down to lighten our load. WE LOVE HER.
Overall the Pond household is full of busy worker bees. Before we know it it will be spring and time to hop aboard our "Pond-toon"! We have 2 trips to the beach this summer and we are already counting down the days!!!!!!
The weather has been incredible lately so we get out and walk all the time. Fresh air makes us tired.
